I can provide a variety of services for you and your equine, details of which are below.

Backing:

Do you have a horse/pony who you require backing?

I can do this for you, usually between 6-10 weeks. During this time I invite you to see your horse/pony being trained and involve yourself as much as possible. I also offer lessons/rides on your newly backed horse/pony so as when you take her/him home you are more than happy to ride forward/handle on your own. I am happy to do as you require e.g. I work with each horse/pony as an individual so whether you are an experienced rider who just wants the basics or a parent wanting a pony backed for your child I can fulfil your requirements.

Training:

Do you have a youngster or older horse/pony that is backed but not performing as you require?

I can help bring your horse/pony on in which ever discipline you require. Whether this is a horse/pony who does not like to hack out or a horse/pony that just needs his/her further education.

Problem Horses:

Do you have a horse/pony that is becoming difficult to ride/handle?

This can be a multitude of things from not loading to napping/rearing to refusing to going forward and many others...I will work with any horse as long as you are honest about their behaviour. The most common problem to a horse/pony becoming difficult and dangerous to ride is related to its teeth or back...I am happy to work with your horse/pony and have these avenues looked into. Of course there is the problem horse that has good teeth and a good back that has learned this behaviour...I am happy to work with these too and bring you both back together.

Coaching:

Do you have a goal you would like to reach with your horse/pony?

Sometimes it can be a bit daunting to see yourself competing at a certain level in a certain discipline. Or maybe you have the knowledge and confidence but just don’t know how to get you and your horse/pony there. If you tell me where you want you and your horse/pony to be in weeks/months I can help you get there.

Handling:

Are you having problems handling your horse/pony?

Whether this is leading, loading, initial handling of young stock or any other behaviour problem on the ground I can help you.
